Walle has become more and more of a typical working-class district

developed into a lively trendy district .

Utbremen,Osterfeuerberg, Hohweg, Westend and the Overseas City, 

all these districts belongs to Walle.

Small streets with terraced houses, modern rapartment blocks and commercial areas 

overlap in the harbor area, on the edge of the city center.

 

The Overseas City/ Überseestadt is one of the largest urban development projects in Europe. 

Where sacks of grain used to be loaded, you can now enjoy the view of the Weser

in hip bars and fancy restaurants.

Here tradition and modernity are skilfully combined and with the bike reachable in 7 minutes.

 

Right in front of the front door, between Wartburg-, Bremerhavener- and Vegesacker Straße 

there is a varied range of restaurants,Bistros, Cafes and ice cream shops and 

offer culinary delicacies.

A little Neighborhood bookstore invites you to look around.

The UNION brewery offers Craft beer &Food 

within walking distance.

Of course, a butcher, pharmacy and bakeries are not missing here

Supermarkets are very close. 

You can go to Wartburgplatz three days a week to the Market stalls fresh fruit, 

Vegetable meat, flowers and buy fresh fish.

The street itself runs in an L-shape around a parking lot covered  tall trees and bushes, offering peace and quietness 

 

Culturally, the Blaumeier studio is home here as well as a few other small studios, 

The Art college is also based in Überseestadt.

The Bremen Art Gallery is only 19 minutes away by bike and 

Half of the path leads directly along the beautiful Weser.

Two BIKES are for free disposal.

The Blockland can be reached quickly and offers beautiful Cycling tours

through the Wümmen lowlands to Fischerhude or the artists' village of Worpswede.

Walle itself also has a park that runs through the entire district.

 The B75 and A27 can be reached very quickly by car.
